An original 16th century stone and timber framed property before extensive and sympathetic renovation.
The restoration process- Preserving and re-using all sound materials. The gable wall is moved at its base by 225mm to prevent structural collapse.
The renovation process using light weight materials for infill panels, the timber frame is repaired using seasoned English oak. Note the new herring bone.
